Local Taco in East Nashville

We really enjoy the Local Taco in Sylvan Park and we have eaten there with friends a few times.  Yesterday, I was craving some of their cuban corn but I did not feel like driving across town to get it.  You can't always get what you want... but some times you can. Today I discovered Local Taco has opened up a new restaurant in East Nashville.
Local Taco in East is over behind Five Points.  It has two garage doors which open to the porch.  The cool, sweet Spring air was delightful and we had a nice view of the outdoors from our vantage point.

The restaurant itself is a fairly small space but the designers made good use of what they have.  The mixed media in the design of the place, white subway tile, copper and reclaimed wood along with the works by local artist give this place a vibrant-creative feel.  When we go out to eat we like to enjoy a place with ambiance.

Local Taco in East End delivers a neat experience and the food is good too, especially the cuban corn.

We aren't the only ones who enjoy Local Taco.  While we were out we were fortunate to see the duo the Wright Darlings.  These ladies not only sing beautifully together they also write their own music.  They were so gracious to allow us to take a picture.  They could be working on their next song right now!

That's one of the things I love about living here.  You never know what you might luck up on or who you might meet in East Nashville.
